Our Beliefs

Christianity

Every one of these beliefs is held by our leadership, but not all of these beliefs are held by everyone in our group. However, this does not affect our productions; every production will still reflect and profess the views below.

-We subscribe to nearly all of the Westminster Confession, but here are a few of our beliefs that are important to elucidate:

  • We believe that God is eternal, existing from everlasting to everlasting.
  • We believe that He is triune: one in essence, three in persons.
  • We believe that all mankind is evil and sinful, rebellious against God of our own free will.
  • We believe that this destines all of mankind to spend eternity in Hell, as our just punishment for our disobedient, self-centered, and wicked lifestyles that refuse to acknowledge our loving, generous, and righteous Creator.
  • We believe that however, God in His grace sent His Son as a propitiation for sin for all those who believe.
  • We believe that Jesus Christ is both fully man and fully God, who died on a cross for the sins of all those whom God has called, and that He rose again to intercede for us, showing that His death was accepted by The Father.
  • We believe that Christians are saved by faith alone in God’s grace alone, provided in Christ Jesus alone.
  • We believe that the Scriptures are the inspired Word of God, comprising of 66 books, and it alone is to be used as the authoritative source for God’s words, commands, and nature.
  • We believe that the life of every person, but especially the life of the Christian is meant to be spent loving and serving God and others in the way He prescribes, to His glory alone.

Film

  • We believe that Christian film productions and exceptional film productions are not exclusive terms.
  • We believe in protecting the right of creatives to own and control their ideas.
  • We believe that the medium of film should be used to tell creative, original stories that reach, teach, and inspire generations.
  • We believe that an audience should not have to turn their brain off to enjoy a film, no matter their age.
  • We believe in upholding a high standard for our films, and giving our best to make our productions meet that standard.
  • We believe that films should never be made solely to make a profit.
  • We believe that practical effects should be used whenever and wherever it looks more convincing than CGI.
  • We believe in making productions that reflect, portray, and profess our beliefs, but we do not believe that those beliefs should be innapropriately and heavy-handedly shoved down the metaphorical throat of the audience.
  • We believe that every person involved in making a production is important, and that while the roles of everyone involved may not be equally important, they are equally valuable to our filmmaking process.
